Nearest airports :

Lodz. Collection can be arranged from Lodz airport on the 4th or 5th September providing we are told in advance about arrival times. Please note: we will not fund private taxi trips.

Warsaw. A conference desk will be open at Warsaw airport to provide assistance, this will be located in Terminal 1. Conference representatives will be located in each terminal to provide assistance. Anyone who needs specific assistance should provide us with their travel details, including airline and flight details.

The conference desk will be open from 10am on the 4th September and will remain open until the last participant’s flight arrival time on the 4th, providing we are told in advance what the times of arrival are. A bus will take people from Warsaw to the conference centre on the evening of the 4th. (Trip takes about 2 hours). We can store luggage in the transport bus if anyone wishes to spend some time looking around Warsaw.

There are also very frequent trains to Lodz Fabryczna from the Warsaw Centralna railway station.. A taxi to here from the airport should cost between 25 and 50 zlotis. We can arrange collection from the train station in Lodz.

Participation, accommodation & meals:

The conference can take a maximum of 100 participants.

A number of rooms are available in a hotel owned by Lodz University at the following prices (breakfast included) –

Single room: 35 euro per bed per day
Double room: 26 euro per bed per day

Lunch + dinner can be arranged for an additional 12 euro per participant per day.
Other hotels are available in the area.
Conference dinner will be 15 euro.
