The WAC-10 logo is by June Mills, aka Gudbiling Gunuckinimul, Larrakia elder and artist. It depicts a mangrove tree, a coastal species that grows in brackish water and is a rich source of natural resources. The mangrove is an important part of Larrakia Country. Larrakia is the land which makes up the greater Darwin region and is the land of the Larrakia People. The Larrakia refer to themselves as Saltwater People and the Mangrove is a major part of their Dreaming.
