Jeffrey McDonald and Wayne Runyu live at the Aboriginal community of Barunga, Northern Territory. They are both Jawoyn men. Wayne is Bagala clan, and a Traditional Owner of the lands around Barunga and Beswick. Jeffry McDonald was named after his grandfather, a strong Jawoyn leader.
Wayne and Jeffrey teach in the Barunga Community Archaeology Field School, run in collaboration with Flinders University.
