Gustavo Politis is Researcher of CONICET and Professor at the Universidad Nacioanl del Centro de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. His main research themes are the peopling of the Americas, the archaeology of the Pampas and the Northeast of Argentina, the ethnoarchaeology of hunter-gatherers, and the theory and history of South American archaeology.
