There is a AUD$20 fee. In most cases you will be notified of the result of your ETA application immediately. Your application may take longer if you do not complete the application process correctly or if more information is required. For further information please go to <a href=\"https:\/\/immi.homeaffairs.gov.au\/visas\/getting-a-visa\/visa-listing\/electronic-travel-authority-601\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/immi.homeaffairs.gov.au\/visas\/getting-a-visa\/visa-listing\/electronic-travel-authority-601<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You must hold a valid passport from one of the following countries to be eligible for an ETA: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong (SAR of China), Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Republic of San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan (excluding official or diplomatic passports), The Netherlands, United Kingdom\u2014British Citizen, United Kingdom\u2014British National (Overseas), United States of America and Vatican City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>eVisitor &#8211; Subclass 651<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>European passport holders may apply to be an e-Visitor. This is free, you are allowed to stay for up to three months and most applications are processed within 24 hours. It costs AUD195.00 and you are allowed to stay for up to three months and most applications are processed within 14 days.
