Publications from WAC-10 have the capacity to draw on diverse perspectives due to the support provided to bring people together from around the globe. It is important, therefore, that papers are published in WAC publications as a first choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are not seeking full papers for WAC-10, as we will not be producing conference proceedings as such. This means you do not need to submit a full paper to present at the Congress. All WAC-10 requires is your abstract and your presentation (in powerpoint) just before the Congress commences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There are two main options for publishing papers after the Congress, however: an edited volume in the One World Archaeology Series<\/a>, published with Springer, or a special edition of WAC\u2019s flagship journal,\u00a0Archaeologies. The Journal of the World Archaeological Congress<\/a><\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n One World Archaeology Series<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Session and\/or theme convenors are invited to propose an edited collection for this series based on material delivered at WAC-10. A volume doesn\u2019t have to be limited to this, however, and you are free to solicit additional papers that were not presented at the time of the Congress to round out the collection.
