As the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dayofarchaeology.com\/about-the-project\/\"> organisers explain<\/a> this is a free project run by volunteers and which \u2018relies on goodwill and a passion for public engagement!\u2019 After five years the tremendous value of this project as a resource has become clear and the thousands of blog posts contributed represent some of the wonderful diversity that we cherish and hope to support in the WACSC. As such we\u2019ve been happy as a committee to take part in the last two DOA blogging carnivals (in addition to our members\u2019 individual contributions)!<br \/>\nThis year we decided to create a more visual (rather than text) based post and collated images from six contributing committee members to create a \u2018snapshot\u2019 of our day. Our main aim was to highlight the diversity of this committee and more generally the work of archaeology students.
