WAC Student Committee Survey on WAC-8 Student Experiences

The purpose of this survey is to allow students to communicate to their representatives on the WAC Student Committee (WACSC) their experiences at WAC-8 and give feedback on what they would like to see us work toward for WAC-9 and beyond. It is intended that this survey will help WACSC members better understand and be guided by the needs of the student body of WAC.

The feedback received through this survey will help to direct the WACSC’s advocacy efforts on behalf of students within WAC. Ultimate decisions on WAC-9 and future congress organisation will be made by the relevant WAC organizing committees and WAC Executive.

The survey is open to all students who attended or who wanted to attend WAC-8, which was held in Kyoto Japan between 28 August and 2 September 2016. (Please note: there is an option if you are not a student and would like to respond on behalf of students you know who are unable to respond themselves, but we would prefer to hear directly from students themselves!)

This survey is not compulsory. No personal information is being sought. All responses will be collated and treated as a group to minimise the potential for any individual to be identified through their responses. The WACSC will keep all responses securely and they will not be used for any purpose other than to inform future directions of this representative committee. The information collected through this survey will not be published or made available publicly.

This survey was launched December 3rd 2016 and it will remain open until March 31st 2017 (please note extended deadline). It is 27 questions in length. Please remember to hit the “SUBMIT” button at the end!
