As part of the International Archaeology Student Resources Project, the WACSC now maintains lists of funding opportunities and resources that we think are particularly well suited to WAC student members. We have established different categories to try to make it easier for students to seek out information directly relevant to them. View our funding categories here.
We also strongly encourage students to investigate if they could seek funding from any of the following sources:
- your current or intended academic department or university
- your university’s scholarship and undergraduate research support services
- your national government’s education programs (and international relations departments/ programs if you plan to conduct research outside your country)
- local archaeology and history societies who may offer support
- scholarships offered by the professional archaeology organisation(s) for your region or topic of study
